Over his career Ben became a pioneer freeing brands from the constrains of manufacturers holding the intellectual property to their concepts. This has been achieved by a focus on excellence in retail design, engineering, and eco-friendly solutions. Due to Ben’s time innovating and leading design projects at Quantum he’s developed a passion for sustainable design that delivers real change.

 

Ben has found it an invigorating experience sharing the MD responsibilities with Gaz setting up LEAP, pulling on all his leadership skills and knowledge. He is motivated by the joy of witnessing projects he and his team delivered being embraced by the public. His enthusiasm reflects his unwavering dedication to creating solutions that positively impact people's experiences and everyday live

Ben is a Product Designer by trade and this informs his thinking and approach working with clients.

He prioritizes a thoughtful understanding of problems and objectives. “In our industry, there's a rush to solutions, but I firmly believe that understanding the 'why' is crucial. I initiate every project with a fundamental question, identifying the core problem or objective. By focusing on the underlying purpose, the resulting solution not only centers on human interaction, it aligns with commercial and brand objectives while also doing right by the planet“. 

 

Outside of work Ben’s passion is road cycling. Whether he's on his race bike or restoring classic bikes, his love for elegant design and engineering shines through. This pursuit serves as both a source of relaxation and inspiration, feeding into his creative process.
